Dakota + Karen's Desert Engagement Session at Superstition Mountains

Dakota & Karen were the winners of my first ever engagement session giveaway! Which if I end up drawing couples that are like this?!? ….Shooooooot, I’m thinkin’ I should do more. Haha!

Tanner & I actually had met Karen + Dakota before at their work. Which is where they met! I guess Thirsty Lion is just the meet up place! Karen actually got into some troooouuubble because she was on the clock and we all 4 started talking for like 2 hours. 😂This was long before they were engaged!
So however many months later, they got engaged, I posted for my engagement session a few weeks after, and entered! I ended up drawing her name on a video on instagram, and BAM! The rest is history.

We seriously had SO much fun at their engagement session! Aside from an UNUSUAL amount of cacti attacking us - it went relatively smoothly. 🤪 Especially considering Karen was hiking around in heels. Talk about a trooper?!
We truly cannot wait for their wedding in December! They are going to make such a gorgeous bride + groom, like are youuuu kidding?!!

The night ended so perfectly, with the sun setting directly on the superstition mountains.
We walked back to our car, laughing at only God knows what, & getting a little chilly as the sun went down.

P.S — Doesn’t this couple remind you of a modern day “The Notebook” couple?!
We should’ve done a remake of the swimsuit “If i’m a bird, you’re a bird”
Now i’m upset. 😂
